    This is an original unframed acrylic on canvas created by Candace Thompson.

    Skinny Dip was inspired by midnight swims in the ocean on Sea Island, where Candace spent most of her summers growing up, and into adulthood.

meet THE ARTIST

I am delighted to have you here! I began my artistic journey at Auburn University in the School of Apparel Design. This led me to Europe and New York City, where I developed a deep appreciation for art and history in various forms, including literature, mosaics, frescoes, sculpture, architecture, and painting.

My work is inspired by a range of influences, such as music—primarily classic rock, thanks to my parents—and contemporary Christian, color play, fashion design, patterns, nature, and people of the Bible.

Most of my art is created outdoors, whether in the grass or by the beach, but always in the sunshine.
